Debbie Fry Debbie has been involved in Women’s Ministries, teaching Precept Bible studies in her home and serves with the Biblical Counseling Ministry at Harvest Bible Chapel in Crystal Lake, IL. Her passion and prayer is to be used by God to help women draw closer to Him through a deeper comprehension of His Word so that they are equipped to glorify Him in all they say and do. Debbie has a special heart for discipling single moms and encouraging them to walk with their Savior in real and practical ways. |
Angela Kugia-Sanchez Author and Bible teacher Angela Kugia Sanchez is a co-founder and director of Lampstand Retreat Ministries, Inc., which was established in 1990. Teaching inductive Bible studies to help God’s people become grounded in the Word of God and live in light of its truths has been her passion for over 30 years. In addition, she has been involved with speaking at retreats, special events, and seminars, using her gift of teaching to boldly proclaim the truths of His Word in a way that encourages practical personal application, and ignites a desire to know Him more intimately. Angela is the author of several Bible studies that are designed to teach others how to dig God’s truths out of His powerful Word for themselves. Angela and her husband Henry are members of Fellowship Life Bible Church in Gilberts Illinois. |

Barb Wilson: has been involved in women’s ministries since she was in college. Her spiritual gift is teaching and her passion is teaching women to grow in their knowledge, love, and obedience to the Lord. Since 1976 she has been involved in speaking, writing, teaching, counseling, mentoring, and discipling women. Many years ago the Lord used some difficult circumstances in Barb’s life to lead her to teach and write the Bible study Wife of Noble Character which teaches women to know and obey God’s Word and to apply His standards to their lives, especially in the area of marriage. Many counseling and mentoring experiences have resulted from God’s equipping in this area. Barb has a degree in elementary education from Cedarville College and has taught in several Christian schools. She also gives piano lessons in her home. Barb and her husband Mark have been married since 1979 and have four married sons and several grandchildren. They live in St. Charles, Illinois, where Barb started several neighborhood studies for women. Barb is available to speak at women’s events, conferences and retreats. Her heart’s desire is to glorify God and point others to the abundant joy found in the Savior. |

Lampstand Retreat Ministries, which is run by an all-volunteer staff, was founded in March
of 1990. Our guests come from many denominations. Some are from fundamental
churches, some from traditional mainline denominations, while others are from small
fellowships. Regardless of your denominational background or church experience you will
be blessed by the intimate fellowship with our Lord, and with each other, that these small
group retreats provide.
